FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tis' The Season To Be Volley
CHANDLER, Arizona (December 01, 2009) - The Sand Club is hosting a volleyball tournament on December 12, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Mark Taylor - San Palacio, a luxury apartment community. On hand will be 64 of the finest volleyball players in the Phoenix area. Players, friends, family and fans alike are all excited to experience an outdoor sand volleyball tournament in December. How many other areas in the US can serve up beach volleyball in temperatures just under 70 degrees this holiday season?
Just about every Saturday since October 3rd, players and friends from all over the valley bring their pop-up canopies, lawn chairs, and coolers while grilling on the barbeques and listening to the radio or i-pod, while waiting for their chance to qualify for the grand finale December 12th at San Palacio. This location is one of 32 locations throughout the metropolitan Phoenix area offering resort-style living and only one of 8 offering a “tailgating” volleyball experience for residents and non-residents. What makes this experience all the more splendid for everyone is the heated pool, spa, flat screen TV’s (turned to college football of course), and occasional “red cards”. Generally, red cards are given out for player misconduct, but The Sand Club rewards players and fans for random acts of jolliness. During the second week at San Marbeya of this Mark Taylor Tour, a fan was given a red card for starting “the wave”; and on Halloween a player was given a red card for his Great American Hero costume. So take a break from the seasonal shopping and endless holiday music to enjoy the Arizona sun and Mark Taylor amenities while watching intense and exciting volleyball matchups featuring some of the hottest players in the Valley.
